Variable Text

HTML Markup:

<H2>Variable text means "user-supplied"</H2>
Sometimes, you need a way to set off text that's generic when you explain it, but will be particular when a user actually substitutes a real value:
<P>
When you use the DOS <CODE>COPY</CODE> command the syntax is <BR>
<CODE>COPY</CODE> <VAR>filename</VAR><BR>
<P>
Thus, if you wanted to copy the file named <CODE>"FOO.BAR"</CODE> you would enter the string:<BR>
<CODE>COPY FOO.BAR</CODE>
