<DIR> Directory List

Definition: <DIR> is a list style. It's commonly used for lists that contain short elements, such as file names. This kind of list may be arranged into columns in some browsers.

Attributes:

COMPACT

COMPACT makes the directory style list appear more compactly than normal.

Context: <DIR> is legal within

<BANNER>, <BODY>, <BODYTEXT>, <DD>, <DIV>, <FIGTEXT>, <FN>, <FORM>, <LI>, <NOTE>, <TD>, <TH>
