<DIV> Document Divisions

Definition: The DIV element, which is used with the CLASS attribute, represents various kinds of containers. Chapters, sections, appendices, and abstracts are examples of what these containers could be.

Standard Attributes: CLASS, CLEAR, ID, LANG

Attributes:

NOWRAP

You can prevent the browser from automatically wrapping lines by using NOWRAP. If you would like to specify explicit line breaks, you can then do it by using the BR element.

ALIGN

Horizontal headings are normally rendered flush left. You can use the ALIGN attribute to specify an explicit horizontal alignment:

* align=right: Renders the paragraphs flush right

* align=left: Renders the paragraphs flush left

* align=center: Centers the paragraphs

* align=justify: Allows text lines to be justified where it's practical @md where it's not, it gives the same effect as the default setting.

<BANNER>, <BODY>, <BODYTEXT>, <DIV>, <FIGTEXT>, <FN>, <FORM>, <NOTE>, <TD>, <TH>
